Fair Practices Code

Our commitment to honest, transparent and respectful customer dealings.

Salem YoursPay Capital Limited ("YoursPay") has adopted this Fair Practices Code in line with the Reserve Bank of India's Fair Practices Code guidelines and industry best practices. It applies to all products originated or facilitated by YoursPay, including through our partner banks and NBFCs.

1. Applications & Processing

  • All product communication โ€” features, interest rates, fees, tenure and eligibility โ€” is provided in English and, wherever possible, in Tamil.
  • Loan application forms clearly list the documents required and the timelines for processing.
  • Acknowledgement of every application is provided immediately; approval or rejection is communicated within reasonable timelines.

2. Loan Appraisal & Terms

  • Sanction letters clearly state the sanctioned amount, annualised rate of interest, fees, penal charges, EMI, tenure and other key terms.
  • The customer's written acceptance of the terms is obtained before disbursal.
  • A copy of the loan agreement and all annexures is furnished to the borrower.

3. Non-Discrimination

YoursPay does not discriminate on the basis of gender, caste, religion, disability or age (subject to eligibility). Products are offered on the basis of the applicant's ability to service the obligation and applicable eligibility policies.

4. Interest Rates & Charges

  • Interest rates are decided based on cost of funds, risk premium, tenure, product and borrower profile.
  • Rates and charges are annualised and disclosed in the sanction letter โ€” there are no hidden charges.
  • Any change in interest rate or charges is communicated in advance through SMS, email or notice at the branch.

5. Recovery Practices

  • Recovery is conducted with dignity and respect. Our staff and authorised agents are trained not to resort to harassment, intimidation, obscene language or force.
  • Customers are contacted only between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM, except in unavoidable circumstances.
  • The customer's privacy is respected; recovery communication is not shared with third parties except as required by law.

6. Confidentiality

Personal and financial information collected is treated as confidential and used only for the purposes disclosed in our Privacy Policy. It is shared with partners, credit bureaus and authorities only as permitted by law or with your consent.

7. Force Closure & Prepayment

Prepayment and foreclosure terms, including applicable charges, are disclosed in the sanction letter. Where regulations require zero foreclosure charges (e.g., floating-rate loans to individual borrowers), the same is applied.

8. Grievance Redressal

Any complaint regarding the application of this Code can be raised as per our Grievance Redressal Policy.

9. Review

This Code is reviewed periodically by the Board of Directors and updated as required by regulation or business practice.
